Caravan and Camping holidays – a key part of the Irish tourism experience

Ireland’s caravan and camping holidays continue to grow in popularity with a high quality product throughout Ireland. The market was worth €132 million to the economy last year and caravan and camping visitors spent 3 million bednights in the country.

The Irish Tourism Industry Confederation (ITIC) recently met with Con Quill, CEO of the Irish Caravan & Camping Council, to discuss how the season is looking for his 90 members throughout the island, the importance of staying competitive, and how market diversification is vital.
