Center Parcs are due to open their first village in Ireland in summer 2019. The 400 acre forest site with 500 lodges – to be based in Ballymahon, Co. Longford – will be transformative for tourism in Ireland’s Midlands and will employ 1,000 permanent jobs once open. The Irish Tourism Industry Confederation (ITIC) met with Martin Dalby, Chief Executive of Center Parcs UK, to hear more about his exciting plans for Ireland.
