Major expansion of transatlantic services announced by Aer Lingus

  • Aer Lingus today announced significant expansion to its transatlantic route offering for next year.
  • There are 3 major initiatives which will provide a significant boost to Irish tourism:- The return of a daily service from San Francisco to Dublin.
    – The introduction of a new daily service from Toronto to Dublin, with additional connectivity from key Canadian cities with an airline partner.
    – Year round services from New York and Boston to Shannon, with connectivity from up to 40 destinations in North America with airline partners.
  • This announcement, coming as it does, in what is likely to be a record breaking year for North American visitors, is good news indeed for Irish tourism and in particular for West of Ireland tourism.
