Tourism Dashboard published – long climb back to recovery commences - ITIC

Today the Irish Tourism Industry Confederation (ITIC) recommences its monthly tourism dashboard, the first since pre-pandemic times. The dashboard – in association with AIB – will track inbound tourism’s recovery by key source market on a monthly basis compared to the equivalent month in 2019, the last normal year for Irish tourism. ITIC uses various sources including carrier and port data to determine inbound visitor volume, STR data on hotel occupancy and rates, and CSO data on employment within tourism.

February shows visitor arrivals down 41% compared to 2019.
