Irish Hotels Federation calls for strong tourism focus from government

With the tourism industry now at a record high in terms of value and volume, the hotel sector has seen a significant increase recently in occupancy and bookings. However the benefits have not been spread evenly throughout the country.

The Irish Tourist Industry Confederation (ITIC) caught up with the newly elected President of the Irish Hotels Federation, Joe Dolan, to hear about the significance of regionality, the importance of delivering value for money, and why the state should invest more in tourism.
