Tourism has been through a very difficult period over the last 2 years, but a new report from ITIC and the Irish Hotels Federation says that the industry has the potential to sustain the current 180,000 jobs and create over 20,000 new jobs by the end of 2015.
The 10 point turnaround plan says that by 2015 tourism can become a €6 billion business annually, and can play a significant role in Ireland’s economic recovery.
