Willie Walsh, CEO of IAG, talks to ITIC about aviation, Irish tourism, Brexit, and learning from mistakes of the past

Willie Walsh – CEO of International Airlines Group, the parent company of Aer Lingus – was back in his native Dublin last week to receive a Special Recognition Award from the Irish Tourism Industry Confederation (ITIC) for his services to global aviation and specifically Irish tourism.

In a wide-ranging interview Willie met with ITIC to talk about his time at Aer Lingus, its expansion since it became part of IAG, the importance of infrastructure investment, his opinion on the current Brexit impasse, and his view of Irish tourism and the need to learn from mistakes of the past.
