‘Sustainable Stories’ – Becky Hargrove of the Kerry Convention Bureau

In support of ITIC’s recently-launched Sustainable Tourism Report, over the coming months we will be bringing to you stories of excellence and leadership in the area of sustainability from tourism colleagues around Ireland.

Called ‘Sustainable Stories,’ our video interviews aim to shine a spotlight on businesses which think deeply about how best to achieve sustainable goals in delivering their tourism experiences.

In this piece, our Head of Special Projects, Catherine Flanagan, chats with Becky Hargrove, Manager of the Kerry Convention Bureau (KCB), about how a collaborative approach with Kerry and national tourism stakeholders has helped rank Kerry amongst the world’s top business tourism destinations according to the Global Sustainable Destination Index.

Thanks to AIB for their support of this sustainable tourism initiative.
